Rotaract club of KMC organized a futsal competition between five teams- surgery, medicine, Interns, Medical Officers and the Rotaract team themselves on 2072 Ashwin 25-27. The five teams competed in the first round and Medical officers were knocked out. The remaining teams played the semifinals with the Medicine and Intern teams reaching the final. The final turned out to be a very entertaining affair with Medicine team coming out as victors with a scoreline of 3-0. The victors were rewarded with 3000 rupees and all the proceeds from the event were handed over to the poor patient fund managed by Rotaract KMC. The event was organized as a gesture of goodwill and friendship between the various departments of KMC and rotaract promised to organized further events of such nature.
